Introduction
Assessment is a critical part of what teachers do. In an online
class, it's especially important to clarify your assessment and provide
feedback for student. In this assignment, you will create an
assessment rubric OR an online quiz with feedback (in WebCT or Blackboard). What to Do
- Skim the introduction and articles examples
in the Rubrics
for Web Lessons online learning
activity. The example links don't work, so skim a few from
Worksheets.com.
- If you plan to do online quizzes, use the manual
or online help to learn how to create a quiz in WebCT or Blackboard.
- Choose one activity:
- create a rubric for a learning activity in your class, OR
- create a Blackboard or WebCT quiz that includes feedback.
Submitting work
- If you chose
to create a quiz, create a Word document that explains the topic
for your quiz and when you would give it to your students (e.g. week
10).
- If you create a rubric, either create it as a Word document or
html file (FrontPage or Dreamweaver).
- Upload
and submit your file to Blackboard.
