Introduction
These days it isn't uncommon for a web designer to be asked to redesign a web site. For this assignment, you will redesign one of the following web home pages.
What to Do
- Choose a page to redesign. You will use existing content and use the same navigation structure. You may use additional images.
- Browse similar web sites and clip art sites for ideas.
- Sketch a few wireframes so you have an idea of layout. Use the rule of thirds.
- Use Fireworks to create 2 comps for the site. Comps should be 960 pixels wide.
Submitting work
- Place your png files into your local root folder.
- Create smaller gif or jpg thumbnails and add them to 217portfolio.htm. The thumbnails should link to the png files.
- Upload and submit URL to Moodle.
