The Final exam will be online during finals week.

Topics

The open book final exam will cover the entire semester and is worth 100 points (~10% of your final grade).

The 50-point multiple choice part will consist of 25 questions randomly drawn from a pool of the same questions used for quizzes.  You get 1 chance and will be able to see your final score without feedback.  You will have 40 minutes to complete this part of the final.

For the practical part of the exam, you will create a simple, database-enabled web site.  You will be expected to do basic Dreamweaver and database integration techniques such as:

• CSS
• libraries
• connection
• detail page
• recordset paging
• insert record
• edit record (filtered recordset)
• list records
• link to detail

I have created a Database Integration Review handout with main points outlined.

You will get 2 hours to complete the practical, so make sure you have enough uninterrupted time to finish before you begin.  Contact me right away if you have technical problems.  You get one "free" question if you get stuck - after that they will cost you points.  Keep an eye on your watch -- you will lose 1 point per minute if you go over 2 hours (I will look at times on the server files).
