Rollovers

A rollover swaps graphics when the user rolls the cursor over a graphic. These are a useful way to provide button feedback but since they require image files they can add to download time. A rollover requires 2 files:  the first is what you see when the page loads and the second is what you see when you move the cursor over the first image.  The 2 files need to be the same size or you will have odd results.

Rollovers are implemented with JavaScript, a language that adds interactivity to  Web pages.

Creating a Rollover

To create a rollover, Select Rollover Image from the Insert menu.

Then browse to the original and rollover files, specify the alt text, and specify the link URL.
