Hand Coded HTML Page - This assignment gave me a good understanding of a basic HTML page and also helped me in another class, CIS 211 Web Markup Languages. Everyone taking either CIS 211 or CIS 212 should be encouraged to take both classes together as they complement each other.
Week 3 practice - This assignment helped familiarize me with using Dreamweaver CS5 web design software. The software appears easy to use, but like most application software, requires learning where to find the many different menus and icons and how to effectively apply them to a web page.
Week 4 practice - This assignment was easy and fun and like the hand coded HTML page, I spent more time on the content than I did with the basic structure of the pages.
Week 5 practice - This practice was fun and I learned a lot of new things that will help me design more appealing web pages.
Week 6 practice - I did this practice twice, once at home and again in class.
Images Lab - In this practice I learned how to resize, crop and optimize images.
Graphics Project - It may not look great, but it works.
CSS Layout - Working with pre-formated layouts can be frustrating until you have some practice working with them.
Hobby Project - I had a hard time getting started on this project.
