When and Where
The Final exam will be online (during finals week).
Topics
The open book final exam will cover the entire semester and is worth about 10% of your final grade).
Multiple Choice
The 60-point multiple choice part will consist of 42 questions randomly drawn from a pool of the same questions used for quizzes. You get 1 chance and will be able to see your final score without feedback. You will have 60 minutes to complete this part of the final.
To review your old quizzes go to Quizzes in Moodle, click the quiz, then click the number.
Practical
For the practical part of the exam, you will create a simple, small web site. Topic will be page design, so please review the Design Presentations. You'll use your usual site definition. Skills may include:
- page and folder creation
- page titles
- links
- images and alt labels
- formatting (headings)
- CSS (multi-column layout, background, font face, link colors in an EXTERNAL style sheet)
- tables
- uploading
You get 90 minutes to complete the practical. You will lose points if you go over time, so DO NOT BEGIN unless you have time to finish.
